Professional career

Medical degree in 2002 from the Complutense University of Madrid.

PhD in Medicine in 2013 from the University of Navarra.

Specialist in Internal Medicine in 2009 at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra.

Specialist research physician in 20011 at the Centro de Investigación Médica Aplicada.

She is currently a Consultant Physician in the Department of Internal Medicine of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and a teaching collaborator at the University of Navarra.

RESEARCH AREAS

  • She worked for two years in the Cardiovascular Sciences Department at CIMA and currently collaborates with them on several research projects.
  • She completed a 3-month stay at Jackson Memorial Hospital of Miami in Hospital Medicine.
  • In recent years, she has devoted her research to heart failure and associated comorbidities and to the study of cardiovascular risk factors and fat accumulation in the liver.
