Director of the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Clínica Universidad de Navarra.

RESEARCH AREAS

He has conducted research in the following areas:

  • Development of a histochemical map of the amygdaloid region in primates.
  • Auditory brainstem implant: an experimental study in primates.
  • Difficult airway management in anesthesia.

AREAS OF INTEREST

He is particularly interested in:

  • Ambulatory anesthesia and anesthesia outside the operating room.
  • Airway management.
