RESEARCH AREAS

He stands out for his research work, both clinical and translational, having participated to date as principal investigator or sub-investigator in more than 50 Phase I, II, and III studies and clinical trials in gynecologic cancer, hereditary cancer, and bone and soft tissue sarcomas.

Many of these studies have changed the treatment paradigm for gynecologic tumors and sarcomas.

Activity

In teaching

He has served as faculty in multiple courses, updates, journals, and books related to his areas of interest.

He has also been an instructor in the 18th edition of the Master’s in Palliative Medicine organized by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and in the 2018–2019 and 2020–2021 editions of the SEOM Master’s in Medical Oncology. 

In addition, he has been highly involved in the training and teaching of new generations of residents in the specialty.

In research

He is the author of more than 30 publications in scientific journals and has presented more than 50 oral and written communications at various national and international conferences related to his areas of interest.

In addition, he has participated as a collaborating investigator in several funded research projects and has received 3 grants in different calls for proposals in recognition of his research work.
