[18F]-FDG PET imaging in autoimmune GFAP meningoencephalomyelitis

A 54-year-old man with a history of rapidly progressive cognitive decline and movement disability for more than 6 months was referred to our institution with a possible diagnosis of prion disease. However, brain MRI showed no abnormal findings and 14-3-3 protein on CSF was negative.
