Hematologic Cancer Area

"Our increased knowledge and advances in treatment with immunotherapy and advanced therapies have transformed the medical care of patients who suffer from haematological cancer in recent years".

The specialists of renowned national and international prestige integrate The Hematologic Cancer Area of the Cancer Center Clínica Universidad de Navarra using diagnostic techniques and new personalized treatments in their healthcare work, which allows for a more precise and rapid diagnosis of malignant blood diseases.

The joint work of the medical and the researching personnel facilitates the development and the application of the new treatments and at the same time the precise evaluation of the result of the treatments.

We are experts in the development of treatments, which include the transplantation of hemapoietic progenitors, adoptive cellular immunotherapies such as CAR-T cells, dendritic cell vaccines, or activated lymphocytes for the treatment of infections. These treatments are developed jointly with the Cellular Therapy Area

Having headed some of the clinical trials that have led to the approval of new drugs such as Panibinostar, Lenalidomida, Carfilzomib or Daratumumab, we are an international benchmark centre in the field of lymphomas, myeloid neoplasms and mainly in myelomas and monoclonal gammopathies.
