Nursing Department
The Nursing department at the Clínica Universitaria aims to provide optimal scientific, human and professional care that responds to the physical, mental and spiritual needs of each patient.
The nursies that are members of our interdisciplinary teams are responsible for providing innovative caring practices and top quality personal attention. They also seek to involve the patients and their family members in the recovery process to make this more effective.
As well as being scientifically well trained, nursing staff are constantly striving to improve their interactions with the patients in order to guarantee a high level of individualised care based on the Christian concept of human dignity.
The Clínica's nursing staff, as is the case with the doctors, are also heavily involved in teaching and research alongside their health care duties.
The staff at the Clínica Universitaria collaborate with the University Nursing School to maintain a high level of theoretical and practical teaching for student nurses so that they can reach the highest possible level of professional competence.
